SmokeScreen Motorcycle Club 2nd Annual Christmas Event Ride

The Christmas holiday is quickly approaching us, The Plant City Recreation & Parks Dept. and Boys & Girls Club are asking for your generosity and assistance in spreading joy and happiness to the less fortunate children and families in our community. Our goal is to get everyone in the community involved with this event. Graciously, we are asking for contributions of food items, unwrapped toys for ages 4 thru 12, bicycles for ages 5 thru 12, monetary support, and anything that might provide comfort and pleasure to the children. We will also be setting up arts-n-crafts tables for the children to engage in coloring, making holiday ornaments, ceramics etc…
This annual event, Christmas in the Park, will be held at the Dr. Martin Luther King Recreation Center located on 1601 E. Dr. MLK Blvd. in Plant City, on December 13, 2008, from 10am-3pm.

New Clubhouse Event

Teachers need your help...

It is September which is also known as the begining of the school year. Everyday we send our most precious commodity, Our children; to school. We all hope that our kids will be in the hands of a dedicated professional teacher that has all he or she needs to help our kids learn.

Unfortunately and all too often our dedicated yet underpaid teachers spend their own money to help our kids learn. For some reason the politicians and the school boards believe that this practice is acceptable. The Clearwater BikerBoyZ will stand up for our Children and the Teachers.

Please come join the Clearwater BikerBoyZ for the Hottest Party in Clearwater and It is all for a really GREAT cause. CBB is having a Club House party to raise money for the Teachers of our adopted school, Dunedin Elementary.

Saturday Sept 27th is the date.

We will have lots of door prizes, $1,000's in raffle giveaways, Trophy awards, Tattoo artist on site, Lots of Food, Drink special and MUCH, MUCH MORE!!!!

Everyone will be talking about this event for a long time so Don't miss out!!!!
Call for directions or more info: (727) 474-2961.

HELP DUDE

I have a family member who went down last weekend after a car pulled out in front of him and I would like to ask all my fellow bikers if they are willing to help him out. We only asking for a dollar and the price of a stamp. I realize times are hard for a lot of people out there with the price of gas the way it is so we decided to keep it simple. Instead of doing a fund raiser or poker run we thought this would be more of an affordable idea and with the number of bikers around here the task could be completed.
We look at it this way, I feel all can spare a dollar. So we are asking you to place a dollar in an envelope and mail it to him. We also ask that you forward this on to all the people in your address book.
If you want to know more about Dude, his life and what happen I have created a page at www.alr133.com/dude.htm
You will also find the mailing address on the webpage and the bottom of this email along with contact information.
Thanks in advance for any help that you can give.

2008 HIV & AIDS Awareness Campaign

We need your Help, On Sunday, August 3, 2008 from 12pm till 6pm @ Broadway House for Continuing Care, located at 298 Broadway Newark, NJ. The MC Red Ribbon Foundation will be bringing an HIV & AIDS awareness campaign & family cook out to the Motorcycle Community. This is a day designated to the MC Community every summer to spread HIV & AIDS Awareness. This will continue to be on a yearly basis.

The 1st Annual Campaign was held on Sunday, August 5, 2007 in Paterson , NJ . 100% of the proceeds from that campaign were given to The Hyacinth AIDS Foundation located in Paterson , NJ . We were able to raise $4,700.00 and presented them with a check at a Live Televised City Council Meeting in Paterson , NJ . This campaign also generated several responses from the public. We had numerous articles written on this campaign in the local news papers, motorcycle magazines and community news letters. In light of such a great campaign and a positive message being presented to the motorcycle community and public I was recently invited by The Hyacinth AIDS Foundation to attend a dinner in Honor of Governor Jon Corzine. We were able to get over 200 people tested for HIV and Hepatitis C at the campaign. We also held a successful blood drive for the American Red Cross.

The Campaign Entrance is FREE! Also we will be raising money at the cook out by selling food and drinks. 100% of the donations received at the cook out will be given to the Broadway House. This organization helps people in the community living with HIV & AIDS with Medication, Health care, Living Expenses, Food & Clothing. They are first and foremost a Live In Facility for people living with HIV & AIDS.

We ask that you also bring your families (especially your Teens) out to get some much needed information regarding this devastating disease that is taking the black community by storm. We all have someone we know or are related to that has been affected by this terrible incurable disease. We all have the power to make big difference in our community. We will have all types of speakers, dancers, singers, skits and activities for the day.

There will also be Private HIV Testing available. There will be Professional counselors also from the Broadway House on the premises if you just want to find out some information on a private basis or you just want to talk to someone. There will also be a Blood Drive to help others. All testing is FREE of Charge and Extremely Confidential between you and the Broadway House! Neither myself, Committee, The MC Community or anyone participating or other wise involved in this campaign will have access or be given access to your test results or conversations you have with any of the counselors at no time!

If you or your club would like to participate in organizing this movement or you have helpful information or you would like to speak or participate in the actual campaign please let me know. We ask is your club donate your time, minds and anything you can to this cause. We need clubs to sign up to volunteer to come out and work at the campaign/cook out or Donate Food to raise money.

If your club is interested in donating time to a well worth charitable cause please email me back @ Mochakawigirl@ yahoo.com with your clubs info so it can be printed on the programs and added to the emails that will be going out. if you need further information regarding this cause you can contact Mocha @ 973/583-0242 or bleep 172*68*325. Let the MC Community Stand Up and Make a Difference!

WE ALL CRY OUT OUR MISSION IS TO HELP OUR COMMUNITY, WELL WE DESPERATELY NEED YOUR HELP! AND AGAIN THIS CAMPAIGN/COOK OUT WILL BE MOVED FROM COMMUNITY TO COMMUNITY EVERY YEAR. SO IF YOU WANT TO BRING THIS TO YOUR COMMUNITY. PLEASE HAVE YOUR SECRETARY WRITE UP A PROPOSAL AND EMAIL IT TO ME, FIRST COME FIRST SERVE, WE WILL HAVE IT IN YOUR COMMUNITY NEXT YEAR.
